Step by Step Loft Conversions

When considering a loft conversion there are many steps and procedures that need to be taken into consideration. Below are those steps and how we can help you with your new loft conversion.

First we will come out and advise you on what you can have in your loft and if you are able to have a loft conversion.

The next step is to arrange the architect for a meeting and to survey your property. He will draw up the plans and submit them to the council. Where upon them being passed, they are your property.

When they are passed you are under no obligation to stay with us, but we will give you the most competitive price and a professional service.

If you would like to see some of our previous loft conversions we can arrange a visit and to speak to some of our customer’s.

Once the plans have been drawn up we will give you a full written quote. On the agreement of the price and you decide to use our company we will organise a date to commence work.

Once this date has been confirmed, scaffolding will be erected around your property and the first timbers will be delivered on site.

At each stage of the build a council building inspector will inspect our work to ensure our work is in accordance to the building regulations.

Once your loft conversion is all completed you will receive a completion certificate from the council building inspectors.
